Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope every ones Thanksgiving was well. I went through a million different plans before I randomly decided what to do on Turkey Day. Well, first off, I didn't have Turkey. After much debate, I decided to head for a Lebanese restaurant, but they were closed for a private party. So we went to a Tex-Mex place and got nachos and tacos. It was too good. The inside was like an old Texan saloon and the quality of ingredients in the food was superb, especially for Tokyo. Definitely a great Thanksgiving meal.

By the way, I spent a good portion of yesterday in a section of Tokyo called Harajuku. It is a popular place for adolescents and teenagers. There are a lot of clothing stores here, but trust me, most of them normal people do not shop at. Most of the items are crazy gothic clothes with skeletons and demons and have curse words written on them. Strange stuff everywhere. A good number of people dressed in these clothes were walking around too. There is normal stuff around, but it's not that good of quality. Apparently there are good deals to be had, but I found nothing that enticed me at all. Tokyo is just not a place to shop. The good stuff is way too expensive (a good winter coat starts at $250 in the department stores and that's cheap!) and the stuff on sale in the little shops is junk.

It's finally getting colder here (cold is like around 50). Actually, tonight I think we may have gotten in the 40s. The leaves are finally falling of the trees. And the sun goes down so early here, like 4:30. I have my last day of classes Monday. Exams officially start Thursday. I'm taking one on Monday early, got one on Thursday and Friday, then I should be done. I have to write two papers that I want to finish next week sometimes as well. Oh yea, a presentation on Monday too. Wish me luck!
